I learned that the background of the photo plays a big role in how good the photo will look. Another thing i learned is that the model shouldn't get direct light because their faces will end up looking too bright. One thing that made me decide my poses is the background and where i wanted the picture. I tried to accommodate the model in a way that the model wouldn't look too uncomfortable. I tried to use the reflector in order to make shadows on the faces disappear. However one thing I failed at is making the faces too bright. To retouch the photograph i used photoshop in order to get rid of any spots on the face or any acne. Portrait photographers are usually paid in between 17,350-63,400 but that was in 2010, that number could have either increased or decreased. Some photographers might take pictures of models for a famous company or clothing brand.
I brought in a cheesecake and macarons from Skybound. And for props I would actually just use from what the teacher had for us. I used a sort of cutting board as a platform for my cheesecake to be on. I chose this because there is a design made out of silver in the front. Some things that i learned is that the angle of the photo is very important in trying to make the foods look a specific size. Also the props that go around would have a big influence on how the food is being perceived. Something else i learned is that the colors of the props are very important in making the food stand out and compliment the main food. One other thins is that the aperture is very important in making the subject food stand out by blurring out the other things. Some industries that use food photography are some such as Jack in the Box among other fast food industries. Well since before i would always take pictures of my food because of my girlfriend so yes i have a feeling i will be doing this more often.
I) First of all, I had to get pictures of things that would look like the letters of my name . First off the "J" is represented by an upside down security camera, the "O" is symbolized by a basketball hoop, the "S" is actually just a puddle of water that was left after the rain and it left an S shape, the "E" is just the shadow of some rails by the basketball courts. Then i went on the common drive and uploaded the template that used four letters. After that, I uploaded the pictures onto photoshop and align each picture so that it could fit in the template. Lastly, I changed it to black and white in order to get rid of the different colors.
I chose to be Leonard not because i want to be an actor but because in the show he is a physicist. I would like to study physics and maybe not to the same degree as Leonard but maybe teach high school physics. I was debating between to do my career on physics or as a psychologist which i would want to be a counselor for students that have trouble in staying in school. I would like to help students that do not think they belong in school, mostly focusing on minorities. An ideal day would be waking up next to my wife, which it would be nice if it were my current girlfriend, along with maybe just one baby. I would like to live in a nice neighborhood. The actor here is Alex O'Loughlin and he plays Commander McGarret in Hawaii Five-0. I chose to photoshop my face with him because in the shows he shows to be a person of morals but also would choose family over anything even his life. I feel like he is a role model, at least in the show. For both of the pictures, i first had to find a large picture , one for my career and one for as an actor. Then i opened them in photoshop, one of the picture i found and the other of one i took of myself in somewhat the same angle. Then i cut my face on my picture and moved it onto the picture from the internet. i adjusted my picture so my nose and the picture would be aligned and then i basically erased what was left over on my photo. The last step was to change the color on the image so that they both nada similar tone, however i forgot to do that for my first picture.

To photograph the moon: 1. Use a tripod! A flat surface will only allow you to shoot straight, and shooting the moon means that you'll be shooting up and constantly re-adjusting the tripod as the moon moves throughout the night. 2. Use a shutter release cord, remote or the camera's self timer if you don't have one, so that you don't move the camera when pressing the shutter release during a long exposure. 3. Use a zoom lens and zoom in as much as you can to the moon. It's okay if it's not a super fancy lens, this was shot using a 15 year old $100 lens. Focus in on the craters and details on the moon. 4. ISO 1250- 1600, so that you can use as fast a shutter speed as you can without losing detail-the longer the shutter speed, the more chances you have the camera will shake even slightly in the wind, resulting in an out of focus photograph. 5. Aperture priority of f/5.6 since you are not worried about capturing any details other then the moon. 6. Bracket your exposure, meaning over expose and underexpose the photograph from what the camera is telling you. Generally the camera will overexpose the moon, so you'll get nothing but a white blob in the sky. Use the exposure compensation button (the +/- button below the shutter release) and change the exposure to -0.5, then -1.0, then -1.5 and so on, until you start seeing detail in the moon. You may go as far as -5.0 exposure compensation to get what you need. 7. Take a fair amount of photos and keep refocusing as the night progresses. The photographs may look focused on the camera's display, but you won't really see if they're completely in focus until you upload them onto your computer screen. |
