First off i had to turn on the camera and then where it is the setting i had to move from either of the settings it was on to Shutter Speed Priority which allows us to control the shutter speed manually. The larger the shutter speed, the more the picture would come out focused and it would practically freeze time according to what measurement you put which would range from 1/3rd of a second to possibly 1/1000th of a second. The picture would be taken faster when the shutter speed was a "small" fraction and it would take longer when the fraction was bigger. You might want to use shutter priority when you want to take a frozen picture of a person running or even get the "ghost" effect also by managing the shutter speed correctly, another time you might want to use shutter priority is when doing light painting.
Notes: Shutter Speed
